In a strain-based evaluation, the result is a field named interface.ctf, which is the number of cycles to failure.

When the Smith-Watson-Topper (SWT) Model, the Wang-Brown Model or the Fatemi-Socie Model is evaluated, the computed number of cycles to failure is limited. For low loads, when the number of cycles to failure becomes very large, the Cycle cutoff parameter, Ncut, provides an upper bound for the value of ctf. If the load is so high that the computed number of cycles is less than 1, the value of ctf is set to 0.5.
