Thermophoresis
The Thermophoresis subnode is used to add an additional flux contribution (Γem, i) proportional to the gradient of the temperature. The flux from thermophoresis is evaluated as follows
in which Mi is the mobility, and STi is Soret coefficient of each species, R is the universal gas constant, and T is the temperature. The mobility and the temperature are used as specified in the Solid node. The flux is evaluated in the reference or in the deformed configuration depending on the choice for Frame in the Solid node.
Thermophoresis
Specify if the flux from thermophoresis is evaluated using the Soret coefficient or the Thermal diffusion coefficient. The thermal diffusion coefficient is only available if the Mobility model is not set to User defined in the Solid node. The thermal diffusion coefficient and the diffusion coefficient are related by the Soret coefficient
