The Floquet Periodic Condition sets up a Floquet periodicity condition between the selected boundaries. It is a default subnode to the
Periodic Structure node. These nodes are added automatically when the
Periodic Structure node is added. First two
Periodic Port subnodes are added to the parent
Periodic Structure node on a pair of opposing parallel boundaries. For the remaining exterior boundaries to the parent
Periodic Structure node, a
Floquet Periodic Condition subnode is added for each pair of parallel opposing boundaries.
where kF is the Floquet wave vector (the wave vector component tangential to the
Periodic Port boundaries) and
rdst and
rsrc are the position vectors for the
Floquet Periodic Condition destination and source boundaries, respectively.
The selection is locked to All boundaries, but filters out a pair of opposing parallel boundaries.
