Reference Electrode
Use this node to define the stoichiometry of a reference electrode reaction, which in turn defines the electrolyte phase potential dependent variable added by the Electrolyte node. By defining a reference electrode stoichiometry, the electrolyte phase potential can be directly related to an experimentally measurable voltage.
By convention the stoichiometry is defined for a reduction reaction (with the electron on the left-hand side). Nonzero values should be specified for at least one anion or one cation.
The reference electrode stoichiometry defined on this node is also used when using a Reference-electrode-stoichiometry based mass-averaged velocity in the Electrolyte node, as well as when defining the resulting electrolyte component fluxes when imposing an Electrolyte Potential boundary condition.
