Adaptive Frequency Sweep
The Adaptive Frequency Sweep study type () is available as a predefined study for the Pressure Acoustics, Frequency Domain interface. The Adaptive Frequency Sweep study gives easy access to the asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) functionality available with a regular Frequency Domain study where it is located under the Study Extensions section.
In the Adaptive Frequency Sweep study the AWE expression type is set to Physics controlled as default. The Physics controlled expression is defined using the AWE Expression feature in the physics. For User controlled enter the Asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) expressions in the table. The Relative tolerance can also be entered, the default value is 0.01.
