Pellets
Use a Pellets plot in 2D () and 3D () plot groups to visualize a flow of pellets or similar objects as spheres or as three orthogonal filled circles (slices). Add Deformation, Translation, and Transparency (3D only) subnodes as needed. Right-click a 3D Plot Group to add this plot from the More Plots submenu.

Select the Radius scale factor check box to enter a scalar number for the scale factor.
From the Pellet shape list, choose Sphere (the default) to visualize the pellets as spheres, or choose Slice to visualize the pellets as three orthogonal filled circles (slices). If you chose Sphere, you can also specify the following properties:
From the Axis list, select a main axis for the spheres that represent pellets: X-axis, Y-axis (the default), or Z-axis.
In the Start angle field, specify a start angle (default: 210 deg) for the sphere.
In the Revolution angle field, specify a revolution angle (default: 240 deg) for the spherical sector. Use 360 degrees for a full sphere. If the angle is less than 360 degrees, a corresponding spherical wedge is removed from the sphere.
