For a local table, you can edit the RGB values (0–1) in the Red, Green, and Blue columns. Use the buttons underneath the table to move, insert, or delete individual rows with RGB data, clear the entire table, or load or save the color table data from or to a file. The Length column is optional. In that column, you can add lengths as nonnegative scalar numbers to decide the relative length of each color segment in the color table. For continuous color tables, the last length is not used. If the Length column is left empty, all colors in the table get an equal length.

For a color table from a file, enter the path and filename in the Filename field, or click Browse () to browse to the file using the Coordinate File window that opens. You can also click the downward arrow beside the Browse button and choose Browse From () to open the fullscreen Select File window to choose a file from a database, for example. Click the downward arrow for the File Location Actions menu () to choose Show in Auxiliary Data () to move to the row for this file in the Auxiliary Data window, Copy File Location (), and (if you have copied a file location) Paste File Location ().
