The High Mach Number Reacting Flow, Diluted Species Multiphysics Interfaces
The High Mach Number Reacting Flow, Diluted Species multiphysics interfaces are predefined multiphysics interfaces available in the CFD Module. They are used to simulate the transport of dilute species in gas flows where the velocity magnitude is comparable to the speed of sound in the gas, that is, flows in the transonic and supersonic range.
These physics interfaces support laminar flow and, depending on the licensed products, turbulent flow.
Selecting the Laminar Flow, Diluted Species entry in the Chemical Species Transport>High Mach Number Reacting Flow branch of the Model Wizard, or an entry in the Chemical Species Transport>High Mach Number Reacting Flow>Turbulent Flow, Diluted Species branch of the Model Wizard, or Add Physics windows, the following two physics interfaces are added to the Model Builder:
High Mach Number Flow, Laminar, or a turbulent flow equivalent like High Mach Number Flow, k-ε.
Transport of Diluted Species
In addition, the Multiphysics node is added, which includes the multiphysics coupling feature High Mach Number Reacting Flow, Diluted Species, which predefines and controls the couplings between the separate interfaces in order to facilitate set up of models.
