Layered Materials
The technique for defining material data and other properties for a layered shell is somewhat different from what is common in most other physics interfaces. In general, several different materials are used on the same boundary, so it would not be possible to use the assignment in a normal
Material
node in the component.
Rather, you defined the whole laminate, including materials, layer thickness, orientations etc. as one unit. The workflow is described in this section.
