Introduction to Viscoelastic Materials
The generalized Maxwell, standard linear solid (SLS) and Kelvin-Voigt viscoelastic materials are available. All the models are linear, and the corresponding materials can be described as consisting of one or more branches with a spring and a dashpot acting in parallel to a linear elastic material. For each viscoelastic branch, the shear modulus and the relaxation time (or viscosity) are entered.
