Rigid Wall
The
Rigid Wall
condition is used to model a rigid wall, corresponding to the sound hard wall condition in Pressure Acoustics. In the case of lossless flows, this reduces to the slip condition
where
n
is the surface normal.

On highly curved surfaces, it may be necessary to switch the
Constraint method

Nodal
in order to avoid locking effects.

for details.
For systems with a trailing edge on an airfoil or with an edge singularity between a liner and a rigid wall, the exclude edges and points functionality can be used to set up an appropriate Kutta condition. See
