Spring Foundation, Interface
Use the Spring Foundation, Interface node to apply elastic and damping boundary conditions on the interfaces of material layers (on boundaries, edges, and points) of a layered shell.
By adding the Predeformation subnode, you can prescribe that the spring force is zero at a nonzero spring extension.
Layer Selection
Select the interfaces between the layers to which the spring contribution is to be applied.
