Use the
Change Thickness
node to model domains with a thickness other than the overall thickness defined in the physics interface’s
Thickness
section. The
Change Thickness
node is available in:

Domains in 2D for the Solid Mechanics and Multibody Dynamics interfaces.
•
Boundaries in 3D for the Membrane and Shell interfaces. (See also
Change Thickness
in shell interface documentation).
•
Boundaries in 2D axisymmetry for the Membrane interface.

Thickness

. This value replaces the overall thickness for the selected domains or boundaries.
