Electromagnetic Waves, Beam Envelopes, Unidirectional
In this part, we copy the Electromagnetic Waves, Beam Envelopes physics interface to make a bidirectional simulation, where the two wave vectors are codirectional but use the propagation constants of the two beating modes. In this case, each wave will have an almost constant amplitude, so a very coarse mesh can be used in the propagation direction.

Enter ewbe2.beta_2 in the x text field of the k2 table, as shown in the figure above. As ewbe2.k1y and ewbe2.k1z evaluates to zero, the second wave vector points in the x direction and has a magnitude of ewbe2.beta_2.
