The Nonisothermal Flow, Brinkman Equations multiphysics coupling is used to model heat transfer and flow in porous media where both the temperature and flow fields have to be coupled. Here, the nonlocal couplings between porous media flow and heat transfer are set up automatically.
When the Brinkman Equations multiphysics interface is chosen from the
Fluid Flow >
Nonisothermal Flow branch of the
Model Wizard or
Add Physics windows, the
Heat Transfer in Porous Media and the
Brinkman Equations interfaces are added to the
Model Builder. In addition, the
Multiphysics node is added, which automatically includes the multiphysics coupling feature
Nonisothermal Flow.
Furthermore, a Porous Material node with a
Fluid and a
Solid subnode is automatically generated under
Component >
Materials.
