The Stress Migration subnode is used to add an additional flux contribution (
Γsm, i) proportional to the gradient of the mean stress. The flux from stress migration is evaluated as follows
in which Mi is the mobility as selected in the
Solid node,
Vmi is the molar volume of each species, and
σm is the mean stress. The flux is evaluated in the reference or in the deformed configuration depending on the choice for
Frame in the
Solid node.
The Mean stress can be either a
User defined expression or it can be selected from another physics interface.
