Introduction

his guide describes the Semiconductor Module, an add-on package for the COMSOL Multiphysics
®
modeling environment. The Semiconductor Module provides physics interfaces for modeling semiconductor devices as well as additional related functionality.
This chapter introduces the capabilities of this module with a summary of the physics interfaces. We will also show you where to find documentation and model examples. The last section is a brief overview with links to each chapter in this user’s guide.
