Relations to Other Port Variables
For Port nodes, the outcoupling variables are related to S-parameter expressions as shown in Table 2-16 below.

In the variables and expressions in Table 2-16, portM is the tag of the port and N is the value of the Port name parameter. It is assumed that the excited port has Port name set to 1.
