The Theory for the Poroelasticity, Layered Shell interface is basically the same as described in Theory for the Poroelasticity Interfaces. The main difference is the 2D approximation for layered materials. Theoretical background about the 2D approximation is given in the theory chapters of the two coupled interfaces Layered Shell and Layered Darcy’s Law.
