The Porous Media Flow Module Physics Interface Guide
The Porous Media Flow Module extends the functionality of the physics interfaces of the base package of COMSOL Multiphysics with respect to the different physical aspects that are important for modeling porous media, like heat transfer in porous media and layered materials, diffusion and reactions of chemical species in porous media, and fluid flow in porous media. It also contains predefined multiphysics couplings, for example, with structural mechanics to simulate poroelasticity or with free flow interfaces. The table below lists all the interfaces specifically available with this module.
