The Rotating Machinery, Laminar Flow Interface
The Rotating Machinery, Laminar Flow (spf) interface, found under the Single-Phase Flow > Rotating Machinery branch () when adding a physics interface, is used for modeling flow where one or more of the boundaries rotate in a periodic fashion. This is used for mixers and propellers.
The physics interface supports compressible, weakly compressible and incompressible flow, and the flow of non-Newtonian fluids. In addition, the physics interface supports creeping flow, although the shallow channel approximation is redundant.
