Open Pipe End
The Open Pipe End node is used to connect a pipe to an exterior system with known concentration. It can for example be used to represent a connection to a tank or a reservoir. The node supports reversible flow by prescribing different conditions dependent on the flow direction at the pipe end. When the flow is directed into the pipe, the upstream inlet concentration is prescribed. When the flow is instead out of the pipe, the convective-flux condition of the Mass Outflow node is applied.
Inflow Concentration
Specify the Inflow concentration cin,c representing the concentration in the connected tank or system. Enter a value or expression in the field for each species. The default is 0 mol/(m3·s).
