The Fixed Boundary feature () can be added from the model tree under Component using the Shape Optimization context menu.

Boundaries not associated with a shape optimization feature are automatically fixed unless they are internal to a Free Shape Domain. Therefore the feature mainly serves to temporarily overwrite other shape optimization features or fix boundaries internal to Free Shape Domain features.
