The Polynomial Shell feature () can be added from the model tree under Component using the Shape Optimization context menu. The selection of the feature cannot be adjacent to a Free Shape Domain, but the Polynomial Boundary can. In 3D, the feature is only applicable to triangular and quadrilateral boundaries. It is recommended not to use this the Polynomial Shell feature on boundaries adjacent to meshed domains. The feature includes the following settings:
