Introduction
This guide describes the Mixer Module, an optional add-on package for COMSOL Multiphysics® designed to assist you in setting up and solving transport problems in mixers and stirred vessels. The module is an add-on to the CFD Module and provides additional support for modeling fluid flow in rotating machinery.
This chapter introduces you to the capabilities of the module. A summary of the physics interfaces and information about where to find documentation and model examples is also included. This is followed by a brief overview with links to each chapter in the guide. The last section in this introduction presents a tutorial model from the Mixer Module Application Library.
