Gear Tooth Geometry (External: 2D)
The part name for the tooth cross section of an external gear is
gear_tooth_2d
. This cross section of the gear tooth is in the normal plane of the gear.
The following sketch shows all the tooth parameters that can be varied to customize the tooth shape.
