The COMSOL Component Selection Window
When working with CAD assemblies, in the Solid Edge® user interface, click the Components button on the COMSOL Multiphysics tab to open the COMSOL Component Selection window where you can select the assembly components to synchronize with the COMSOL® model.
From the Synchronize list select Visible (default) to synchronize all assembly parts that are not hidden. Note that suppressed parts are never synchronized. Set Synchronize to Selected to choose from the displayed assembly tree the parts to be synchronized with the COMSOL model. The assembly tree lists both hidden and visible components, both of which can be selected for synchronization. Parts that are suppressed in the assembly do not appear in the displayed tree, and cannot be synchronized.
Every time you switch Synchronize from Visible to Selected the selection in the assembly tree is reset to include only the visible assembly components.
The synchronization settings you make in this window are automatically saved in the Solid Edge® file the next time you save your work. Click the Revert to Saved button to reload the information from the saved file. Confirm your changes by clicking the OK button, or click Cancel to discard any changes and close the window.
