Importing the Geometry
Before importing the CAD file, make sure that the CAD kernel is used.

In the Model Builder window, under Component 1 (comp1) click Geometry 1.

In the Settings window for Geometry, from the Geometry representation list, choose CAD kernel.

In the Home toolbar, click Import .

In the Settings window for Import click the Browse button.

In your COMSOL installation directory navigate to the folder applications/LiveLink_for_Solid_Edge/Tutorials,_CAD_Import and double click the file loudspeaker_enclosure.step.

From the Length unit list choose From CAD document.

Click Import.
As soon as the import is done the geometry appears in the Graphics window.
The enclosure consists of four solid objects.
