Importing the Geometry
This tutorial uses the wheel rim geometry that appeared in the previous example. Make sure that the CAD Import Module geometry kernel is used.

In the Model Builder window, under Component 1 (comp1) click Geometry 1.

In the Settings window for Geometry, from the Geometry representation list, choose CAD kernel.

In the Home toolbar click Import .

In the Settings window for Import click the Browse button.

In your COMSOL installation directory navigate to the folder applications/LiveLink_for_Inventor/Tutorials,_CAD_Import and double click the file wheel_rim.x_b.

Click Import.
As soon as the import is done the geometry appears in the Graphics window.
