Linking Parameters to COMSOL
By following the steps below you can select additional parameters from the Inventor file to be linked to the COMSOL model.

Switch to Inventor.

Click the Parameter Selection button, which is found on the COMSOL Multiphysics tab.

In the COMSOL Parameter Selection window expand the Model Parameters section to view parameters available in the Inventor file.

To link the parameter d12 to COMSOL select the corresponding checkbox in the Add to COMSOL Model column.

To confirm click the Done button.

Now switch back to COMSOL to transfer the parameter you have just selected.

In the Settings window for LiveLink for Inventor click the Update Parameters from CAD  button.
The updated table now contains both linked parameters, and a global parameter has been generated for the latest addition to the table:
