Strain Life Results
In a strain life evaluation, the result is a field named interface.ctf, which is the number of cycles to failure.
When the E–N curve Model, or the Combined Basquin and Coffin Manson Model is evaluated, the computed number of cycles to failure is limited as follows: for low loads, when the number of cycles to failure becomes very large, the Cycle cutoff parameter, Ncut, provides an upper bound for the value of ctf.
When the Coffin–Manson Model is evaluated, the accumulated effective inelastic strain range, interface.Dei, is also calculated.
