Definitions
Add a manual explicit selection for the orange domain. This will facilitate if the geometry needs to be changed in the future. Selections is generally a convenient way to group different parts of the geometry together. Selections of the two nails are already available under the Geometry node  in the Model Builder Window.
Explicit I

In the Definitions toolbar, click Explicit .

In the Settings window for Explicit, type Orange in the Label text field.

Select Domain 1 only.
Load some variable definitions from a file. The location of the file should be the same as the parameter file.
Variables I

In the Model Builder window, under Component 1 right-click Definitions  and select Variables . Alternatively, click the Definitions toolbar and select Local Variables .

In the Settings window for Variables click the Load from File button .

Browse to the application’s Application Library folder and double-click the file orange_battery_variables.txt.
