Geometry 1
Now create the geometry by using a rectangle and a circle.
Rectangle 1

In the Model Builder right-click Geometry 1 and choose Rectangle .

In the Settings window for Rectangle under Size:

In the Width text field, enter W.

In the Height text field, enter L.

Click the Build Selected button and, if required, in the Graphics toolbar the Zoom Extents button .
Circle 1

In the Model Builder right-click Geometry 1 and choose Circle .

In the Settings window for Circle, under Size and Shape, enter R_rebar in the Radius text field.

Under Position:

In the x text field, enter S+R_rebar.

In the y text field, enter L.

Click the Build Selected button .
Difference 1

In the Model Builder, right-click Geometry 1 and choose Booleans and Partitions > Difference .

Select the object r1 (the rectangle). In the Graphics window, click r1 and Add  to add it to the Objects to add list in the Settings window for Difference.

In the Settings window for Difference locate the Difference section.

Under Objects to subtract, click the Active button.

Select the object c1 only (the circle) using the same method as described for the rectangle.

Click the Build All button . The geometry should match Figure 4.
