Ball Selection (Mesh Sequences)
Use a Ball Selection node () to create a selection of all entities of a given dimension that are completely or partially inside the shape of a ball in 3D.
To add an Ball Selection node, choose one of the following:
On The Mesh Toolbar, select Ball Selection from the Selections () menu.
Right-click the Mesh or Mesh-Based Geometry node and choose Ball Selection () from the Selections menu.

Resulting Selection
Select the Show in physics checkbox (selected by default) to make the resulting selection available as a named selection should appear in applicable settings for physics, materials, and other parts of the model tree outside of the mesh sequence or in instances of the mesh part. Clear the checkbox to keep the selection local to this mesh sequence.
