Use a Combine Solutions node (

) to manipulate solutions. The supported operations include concatenation, convert outer to inner solution, summation, weighted summation, general summation and remove solutions. When one of the source solutions is from a
Parametric Solutions node or an outer solution, a
Parametric Solutions node (

) is created below the
Combine Solutions node.
The Combine Solutions node’s
Settings window contains the following sections:
Use the Defined by study step list to specify if the settings are synchronized with the corresponding study step. If you select
User defined (to overwrite the settings defined in the corresponding study node), you can specify the settings to be different from the corresponding study step.
From the Solution operation list, choose
Concatenation (the default),
Convert outer to inner solution,
Summation,
Weighted summation,
General summation, or
Remove solutions. For more information about the available settings for each
Solution operation see
Combine Solutions Settings.
