Changing the Table Settings
The settings for linked tables are saved together with the tables in the PowerPoint presentation or Word document. To edit the table settings, select the table and then select the COMSOL Table tools tab, where in the Table section you can do the following:
Select the Full Precision checkbox to use full precision.
Select the Include Header checkbox if you want to include a header.
Select the Include Title checkbox if you want to include a title.
Enter the Precision (when the checkbox Full Precision is cleared) as an integer between 1 and 17.
From the Notation list, choose one of the following alternatives for the numeric notation:

Automatic — display numbers in either scientific or decimal notation depending on their magnitude.

Engineering — display numbers in engineering notation, for example 850E-3.

Scientific — display numbers in scientific notation, for example 8.5E-1.

Decimal — display numbers in decimal notation, for example 0.85.
From the Complex Notation list, choose one of the following alternatives for the complex notation:

Rectangular — display complex numbers in terms of real and imaginary parts, for example 1 + 2i.

Polar — display complex number in terms of magnitude and argument, for example 2.236163.435°.
To regenerate the table after changing the settings, from the COMSOL Table tools tab click Update Table ().
