This node is available for the Lumped cell model. The settings of this node define the thermodynamics of the battery.
If Reference equilibrium potential and temperature derivative option is selected on the parent level, specify the
Open circuit voltage at reference temperature (V) and
Temperature derivative of open circuit voltage (V/K) as a function of state of charge, either using
Local tables,
User defined, or
From definitions option. When using the
Local tables option, linear interpolation between the provided values, as well as linear extrapolation outside the range of values will be used. Note, the temperature derivative of open circuit voltage data is used to calculate the temperature dependence of the open circuit voltage and in the calculation of the reversible (entropic) contribution and heat of mixing contribution to the total heat source. Also, set the
Reference temperature (K) in this node.
If Equilibrium potential and thermoneutral potential option is selected on the parent level, specify the
Open circuit voltage (V) and
Thermoneutral voltage (V) as a function of both state of charge and temperature. Only
User defined option is available. Note, the thermoneutral voltage data is used in the calculation of the reversible (entropic) contribution and heat of mixing contribution to the total heat source.
