Domain, Boundary, and Pair Nodes for the Thermoviscous Acoustics, SLNS Approximation Interface
The Thermoviscous Acoustics, SLNS Approximation Interface has these boundary and pair nodes available from the Physics ribbon toolbar (Windows users), Physics context menu (Mac or Linux users), or right-click to access the context menu (all users).
In general, to add a node, go to the Physics toolbar, no matter what operating system you are using. Subnodes are available by clicking the parent node and selecting it from the Attributes menu.
In the COMSOL Multiphysics Reference Manual see Table 2-4 for links to common sections and Table 2-5 to common feature nodes. You can also search for information: press F1 to open the Help window or Ctrl+F1 to open the Documentation window.
The Continuity node with this physics interface is available as a pair boundary condition. This gives continuity in the pressure, the scaling functions, and the flux on a pair boundary between thermoviscous acoustic domains.
The boundary conditions available with the Thermoviscous Acoustics, SLNS Approximation interface include a subset of the conditions available for The Pressure Acoustics, Frequency Domain Interface (see the following list) as well as a dedicated Wall feature. Special Override and Contribution rules apply in order for boundary conditions to include the desired thermoviscous mechanical no slip or slip (perfect) as well as thermal isothermal or adiabatic behavior.
In the COMSOL Multiphysics Reference Manual see Table 2-4 for links to common sections and Table 2-5 to common feature nodes. You can also search for information: press F1 to open the Help window or Ctrl+F1 to open the Documentation window.
