Create selections for the inlet and outlet of the muffler.

In the Definitions toolbar click Explicit .

Go to the Settings window for Explicit. Enter Inlet in the Label field (replace the default).

Under Input Entities from the Geometric entity level list, choose Boundary.

Select Boundary 1 only.
