This feature is available as a subnode of a 2D Coil in which the Coil group functionality has been activated. This feature is available both for domain and boundary coil features. The Domain Group/Boundary Group subnode is available from the context menu (right-click the parent node) or from the Physics toolbar, Attributes menu.

The Domain Group/Boundary Group feature is used to group together a number of domains/boundaries for the purposes of the coil set up. The selected domains/boundaries will be considered as one by the coil. Normally, when the Coil group checkbox is selected, each domain/boundary in the parent’s selection is considered as series-connected to all the other domains/boundaries.
