Magnetic Flux Conservation
The Magnetic Flux Conservation node adds Equation 4-22 (or a similar equation depending on the selected constitutive relation) for the magnetic scalar potential and provides an interface for defining the constitutive relation and the relevant material properties (for example, the relative permeability).
Constitutive Relation B-H
See the settings for Constitutive Relation B-H under Ampère’s Law. Notice that the Magnetic Fields, No Currents, Boundary Elements interface supports the following constitutive relations only: Relative permeability, Remanent flux density, and Magnetization.
Notice that the boundary element method is based on the availability of an analytic Green’s function for the domain. Thus, the Relative permeability must evaluate to a constant value for each Magnetic Flux Conservation node.
