Magnetic Scalar Potential Discontinuity
The Magnetic Scalar Potential Discontinuity node adds a boundary condition on an interior boundary which allows for a prescribed discontinuity in the magnetic scalar potential. The difference in magnetic scalar potential through this boundary is given by
where Vmu is the magnetic scalar potential on the upside of the boundary selection and
Vmd is the magnetic scalar potential on the downside.
When applied to a cut boundary making a nonsimply connected region simply connected, this feature formally represents a surface current flowing along the boundaries connecting the upside and downside boundaries.
