The Interface Current Source is available for boundaries only. It is similar to the
Layer Current Source, but instead of representing a source interior to the layer, or a source on the layer’s outer perimeter, it represents a net current density flowing from the adjacent domain into the shell (
Qj,s, SI unit: A/m
2), It can be used to model, for example, a boundary acting as an electrode. Alternatively, for interior interface selections it can represent a source of current on an interface between layers.
