Moisture Source
This node describes moisture generation within the domain. You express addition and removal of moisture content with positive and negative values, respectively. Add one or more nodes as needed — all moisture sources within a domain contribute with each other.
The Moisture Source node adds a source term G to the right-hand side of the moisture transport equation:
Moisture Source
Enter a value or expression for the Moisture Source G0 per unit volume.
When added on a Hygroscopic Porous Medium domain with Equilibrium between liquid and gas phases set to Equilibrium formulation, the moisture source is distributed between the liquid and vapor phases proportionally to the amount of liquid water and water vapor in the pores. The total moisture source is stored in the variable mt.Gtot, while the vapor and liquid water sources are stored in mt.G_v and mt.G_l respectively. See Equilibrium Moisture Transport for details.
