Constraint Group
Add a Constraint Group () under the Global Definitions node to create a constraint group to which you can assign one or more constraints. You can then activate the constraint group in one or more load cases for efficiently solving a model to analyze the effects of various constraints.
Settings
The Label is the default coordinate system name. The default Parameter name (for the first coordinate system in the model) is cg. This can be modified if you want to use a more descriptive parameter name (for example, cgForce). You can also create constraint groups from physics nodes for structural mechanics and heat transfer that represent constraints and support load cases: Right-click the physics node and choose Constraint Group > New Constraint Group.
If you select Group by Type from the context menu, either right-click the Global Definitions node or the Loads and Constraints Groups node () to add a Load Group or Constraint Group.
Group Members
In this section, a table shows the constraints that have been added to this constraint group. If you have not included any constraints in this group, the leftmost column is empty, indicating that no constraint is active in this group. You can select a constraint and click the Include to Group button () to include it as active in the group. Click the Reset to Default button () to reset the inclusion as active in the constraint group. Click the Go to Source button () to move to the node in the model tree for the selected constraint.
