Go to the web page www.comsol.com/product-download. To download the COMSOL installer, you must first create a COMSOL Access account as described in the section Installation over the Internet.

Download the DVD image. The default image, COMSOL63_dvd.iso, is too large to burn to disc. For installations that require physical discs, download the files COMSOL63_dvd_1.iso, COMSOL63_dvd_2.iso, and COMSOL63_dvd_3.iso instead.

When you have downloaded the DVD image, mount the single image directly or burn the numbered images to discs. To burn an image to disc, use a DVD burning tool or command such as cdrecord. To directly mount the image, you can use a loopback device:
