Introduction to Viscoelastic Materials
The generalized Maxwell, standard linear solid (SLS) and Kelvin–Voigt viscoelastic materials are available. All the models are linear, and the corresponding materials can be described as consisting of one or more branches with a spring and a dashpot acting in parallel to a linear elastic material. For each viscoelastic branch, the shear modulus and the relaxation time (or viscosity) are entered.
