The Electromechanics, Boundary Elements interface (
), found under the
Electromagnetics-Structure Interaction (
) branch within the
Structural Mechanics branch (
) or the
Electromagnetics and Mechanics (
) branch within the
AC/DC branch (
) when adding a physics interface, combines Solid Mechanics and Electrostatics, Boundary Elements to model the deformation of electrostatically actuated structures. The
Electromechanics, Boundary Elements interface is available for 3D and planar 2D geometries.
When this multiphysics interface is added using the Model Wizard, a
Solid Mechanics interface and an
Electrostatics, Boundary Elements interface are added to the
Model Builder. In addition, the
Multiphysics Couplings node is added, which automatically includes the multiphysics coupling feature
Electromechanical Interface.
