Thin Protected Metal Surface
Use the
Thin Protected Metal Surface
node to specify the oxygen reduction current density along internal boundaries to Electrolyte domains.
The thin protected metal surface is assumed to be fully protected to corrosion (metal dissolution). However, the surface is assumed to be active for oxygen reduction.
The oxygen reduction current density may be either set according to a user-defined expression or by using a limited linear ramp relation. This node makes it possible to specify the electrode phase potential, which is used by the node to define the upside and downside variants of a postprocessing variable
for the electrode phase potential versus adjacent reference,

.
The node is active if
Enable Cathodic Protection Features
check box is enabled at the interface node.
