Protected Metal Surface
Use the Protected Metal Surface node to specify a surface assumed to be fully protected to corrosion (metal dissolution), but still active for oxygen reduction.
The oxygen reduction current density may be either set according to a user defined expression, or by using a limited linear ramp relation.
This node makes it possible to specify the electrode phase potential, which is used by the node to define a postprocessing variable for the electrode phase potential versus adjacent reference, Evsref.
The node is exclusive and is applicable to external boundaries to Electrolyte domains.
The node is active if Enable Cathodic Protection Features check box is enabled at the interface node.
